I picked this up at the November 2009 Tuesday night Boston Bookcrossing Meetup. I was just taking home the leftovers, but then, I found myself in the mood for an easy mystery/detective novel, and so I read it. It was ok, somewhat better than I expected. I liked the ending. There were some moments of silliness that I think the book would have been better without, such as when the public defender did a a little victory dance when the judge ruled in his client's favor -- this was out of place. But on the whole, I enjoyed it -- it was just the thing at that moment.
This was an orphan left unclaimed at the end of the Saturday edition of the Boston Bookcrossing meeting. It was taken to the Boston Hostel OBCZ and released in the bookcase along the far back wall of the lobby.
