Purchased at the local second hand book store yesterday for $4.50 - Back Alley Books. (The Boo Series #1) The owner said he just finished reading this one and loved it. He had the second book in this series too, Boo Who, with a picture of an owl, but decided to limit myself to just this one. (self control is hard when it comes to books!)
Started: 9/15/10
Finished: 10/15/10 This wasn't scary, but rather a light-hearted, almost elementary school type of writing. Meaning, this is something similar to what I used to read in 5th grade. It was a failed attempt at a fun, humorous book. I didn't get it. Too much deceit and lying and gossiping going on for a christian type book.
This is the only memorable text out of the entire book:
Paul Engle said, 'Poetry is boned with ideas, nerved and blooded with emotions, all held together by the delicate, tough skin of words.'
