I finally got to reading it. All with the feeling that I'd read at least some of it before. That feeling proved to be a spooky one as the subject became clearer.
not one of Konntz's best but then he does indulge himself sometimes at the readers cost. For exampl humour, he's not fnny, long words, ok but if I want to read a dictionary I will and in this case a love of dogs. I'll give him this, the dogs work better than humour or long words.
