Haunted: Tales of the Grotesque
1 journaler for this copy...
I categorized this under 'Horror', as the book and the summary try to state that this, indeed, is. I have not read this book in many, many years (about a decade, in fact), but I do not remember it being very interesting, and most definitely not "grotesque", "multi-layered" or "gripping" (from the back cover). I think there might have been one story I found interesting but, other than that, I found it to be quite boring.
Perhaps my opinion of this collection would be different were I to read it now, all these years later, but I simply am not interested. I kept it for so long for sentimental reasons, but now I think it is time for it to journey into the hands of someone who might actually find it to be of interest.
