Journal Entry 1 by dawni from Windsor, Ontario Canada on Sunday, June 15, 2003
Purchased new from Bolen Books in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It's been years since I read this one, so I'm not sure I can give a very good review of it, so... from the back cover:
Among the Shadows marks the first appearance in paperback form of nineteen "rediscovered" Montgomery tales. Another volume of thematically linked stories, it is a companion to the best-selling collections Akin to Anne, Along the Shore, and After Many Days. In Among the Shadows, Montgomery presents a vivid portrayal of the strong passions, intriguing behaviours, and varied characters found in seemingly ordinary towns and villages. Here too are stories of a supernatural bent, reflecting the belief that people can "come back" from beyond the grave to help the living. FYI, the cover of the actual book is slightly different from the one shown on my bookshelf. dawni

Journal Entry 3 by Miss-Siren from Victoria, British Columbia Canada on Monday, June 16, 2003
I found this book in the wild this afternoon at Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, BC. I plan on reading it (I've never read this book, but I fondly recall the author from my girlhood days) and releasing it back into the wild.
