Received through the post as a birthday RABCK from Katybean. I think she got it from bookmooch. I've previously read and enjoyed a few Jane Green novels.

"One summer a group of strangers - each with their own reasons for wanting to step out of their busy lives - meet at a rented beach house in sunny Nantucket, owned by the mischievious and free-spirited Nan. There's Daniel, who's causing heartbreak for his wife Bee; recently divorced Daff, who feels she's lost touch with her daugher Jess; and Michael - Nan's son - who is having an ill-advised fling with his boss.
With so many lost souls gathered under one roof, very soon there are tears and laughter, friendship and - for some - even love. Each one of them is hoping for a new beginning. But will any of them find it?"

Affairs, divorces, widows. A love story in your forties rather than the chick-lit era of Jane Green past.
Comforting easy read. I did love the thought of Nan and her rambling house on the island.

Taking round to Sunlightbub's house.
I see she has enjoyed a few other Jane Greens in the past so I'm hoping she hasn't got this and she will enjoy it.

Really enjoyed this - could identify rather too well with the stroppy teenage daughter scenario!!

Off to Jordanne from a swap.
