cute and funny

Picked this up at our fun (as always) & delicious (ditto) dinner at Little Village tonight. Looks like a fun book, thanks!

This fun book claims to be about how to hold the perfect funeral in the Mississippi Delta, but the cover art gives it away - what it's really about is the food! It's not quite a cookbook, but it's got more recipes than any other non-cookbook I can think of, and some of them are quite tempting.

I had a pen pal from Meridian, Mississippi when I was a kid, but I don't think I've ever been there. It's the 20th state, and its nickname is the Magnolia State.
