from the TLC book sale. Was a TLC book club book.
Interesting perspective. The author believes in Jesus, but doesn't consider himself a "Christian". A lot about his struggle with faith. Read for Diakonia class, but finished later since this needs to be read in small doses, as there's some much to ponder.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
A Wishlist book. Enjoy!
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!

RABCK from NancyNova. Thanks so much.
I have skipped around in this already and read a couple of the essays. As a Christian writer, he's so-so, but I enjoy the self-deprecating, Dave Barry-esque humor. Also it has regional interest. Since he's from Portland, there are lots of references to Pacific Northwest things and places, such as Stumptown Coffee.
