I have wished to read a Jacqueline Wilson's book in English for ages. Today I did a children's books' day in buying, so this masterpiece found a new home on my shelf, and maybe it will soon release ... :)

After hearing so much the writer, I was high expectations. But I really *HATED* the little boy's father. He was so rude. He told ugly things to his son, sometimes he even offended him with his own words. I couldn't believe my eyes when I was reading. Like this... "What's the matter with you, Micky? The only boy, yet he is the biggest girl of them all." Fortunatelly the boy's mother consoled Micky, saying "Don't take any notice of Dad. He's just feeling tetchy because he ate and drank too much last night." I don't think it as a funny thing at all. I was disappointed in this book, although the story may have been good, it was about how to become fond of a dog.

Thank you hakkalina for a bonus book! It is sad but sometimes true that parents do not always have the right attiude towards their children. I hope to read this will a light heart and find all the good it has to offer.
This was really quite a nice little book. I am going to gift it to a co-worker who has a young one. This would also make a nice read-a-loud book before bedtime book or it would also make a nice read for a child recovering from an illness.
