Im Charmissimo beim Meetup entdeckt und eingesackt =).
Well, I hoped this book to be more Science-Fiction or even more bloody ^^. But it was OK and will now go back to the Charmissimo.

Hab das Buch beim BC-Treff eingesammelt, um es auch auf dem Cover als BC-Buch zu kennzeichnen. Möglicherweise wird's auch noch gelesen...
"A millionaire English Lord dreams of founding a utopian community on a remote pacific island..."
The book is not exactly science-fiction, it's one of those "catastrophe-scenarios" such as Michael Crichton wrote almost half a century later, yet with less technical details, which makes it an easier read. The dry humor promised on the back cover seems to have escaped me, but I know from other Wyndham books that he can be hilarious indeed.
