I loved this book. It started maybe a bit slowly (or maybe it was just me, as I read it in bed just before falling asleep), but soon I was so captured by the story and the characters that I just couldn't stop reading.

Hustvedt's characters are really fascinating. I loved the way she describes their work, especially Bill's art - I wish he was real so I could go and see his work in a gallery.
