The Time Traveler's Wife
1 journaler for this copy...
I wanted to see the movie but never did. I wanted to read the book first because the book is always better, so I never got around to seeing the movie, nor do I know anyone who did, so I have no preconceived ideas of what to expect. I am starting it tonight!
I purposely did not see the movie version of this because I wanted to wait until I read the novel. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Once you get used to the bouncing around in time (much like Henry has to) it's an easy and enjoyable read. The sense of impending doom keeps you turning the pages.
I loaned it to a friend and she couldn't get into it, but she's a James Patterson fan so there is a vast difference in our reading tastes. So don't let that deter you from a wonderful read.
