1941 Burma and 1948 Indo-China and Lee Crane is a pilot first fighting the Japanese in World War 2 and then flying freight missions after the war. But he is haunted by his experiences and a beautiful Anglo-Indian girl that he loved and had to leave in wartime to do his duty.
