Book #2 in the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

Book Description:

Warning! This second volume in the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series is definitely not a standalone book. Enjoying, or even understanding, the continuing adventures of Earthling Arthur Dent, his strange pal Ford Prefect, and the very, very odd Zaphod Beeblebrox requires previous study and preparation. Confusion and possible insanity awaits the poor soul who tries to figure out the second title without having read the first. Arthur and Ford, having survived the destruction of Earth by surreptitiously hitching a ride on a Vogon constructor ship, have been kicked off that ship by its commander. Now they find themselves aboard a stolen Improbability Drive ship commanded by Beeblebrox, ex-president of the Imperial Galactic Government and full-time thief. Narrated by Adams, this production is a treat for fans of the late author and others who enjoy British comedy. Be sure to buy all five parts of the "Hitchhiker" series or your patrons will storm your office.

I accidentally bought another copy of this book so it's ready to travel! I found it on Branana's wishlist, so I'm sending it to her as a RABCK. Enjoy the book!

Love this series so far. Now that I've finished the second book, I have a strong urge to get a cat just so I can name it "The Lord".

Another hilarious book. I have books 4 & 5 ready and waiting but need to get hold of Book 3 - one of my missions for this year :)

I finished this today whilst travelling to Leeds on the train and was determined not to wild release it, however I called in Cafe Nero to see if they had a book swapping box like they do in a Newcastle Branch. They have a children,s corner and there was a few adult paperbacks there too. Non of which were bookcrossing so I took two home to register, Well I couldn't not miss an opportunity to advertise bookcrossing could I ??

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Welcome to Bookcrossing!

You have found a travelling book. Why not join in the fun? Read, release and pass on but don't forget to write a Journal Entry telling us where you found the book, if you read it what you thought about it and where you are going to leave it. If you join bookcrossing before you do the entry you will get an alert when the next person writes up about it and can track its travels. If you prefer to just leave an Anonymous Journal Entry, it will brighten up my day either way. Oh and if you like the book sooooo much you just don't want to let it go that is fine too, maybe one day eh :)

Enjoy!!
