I love the Torey Hayden books!!!! So this one was no exception xxxx

A great book detaling how Torey helped a young child named Jadie who never talked, laughed or cried.

Touching, sad and tragic in parts but inspiring too xxxx

This book is about a shocking story of a terrified, 8-year-old mute and the teacher who helps her to speak--only to reveal horrible acts of sexual abuse and satanic rituals. Explicit sex and language. I found this book hard to put down and sad that this goes on out in the world to our children. Excellent read and it held my attention, loved the ending although it does leave you guessing on some issues. This teacher was courageous for getting involved and getting to the core of this child's problem. I commend her for that. I am putting this book on my available list for another bookcrosser to read.

This book was amazing and horrible at the same time. Some parts of the book left me nauseous. It is a great book though and I really want to read the other books from Torey Hayden as well. I am very glad that I got the chance of reading it.

Going to turn this into a ray!

I received it a couple of days ago, thanks for sending it to me! I was really impressed by other books of this author, so I am looking forward to reading this one.

Edit18/12: it took a while, but as before with this writer, the story grabbed me. I also work as a teacher and I am having quite some dificulties with some of the children in my class, but this doesn't compare to what the writer is sometimes going trough. I liked reading this book very much, it has also been a kind of an inspiration to me, so thanks for sharing this one!

I finally finished it. Thought it was very interesting, but I thought the book could have been at least a halve shorter, I got bored when I got in the middle. And the end was rather unsatisfying. Talking of loose ends...

The book was with me for some time because I felt like this was going to be a read where I'd need time and patience for and where else can that be found than on vacation.

The first part of the story really appealed to me and I got more and more nervous what happened to Jadie and how come she was acting the way she was. Unfortunately, I thought the end of the book was quite lame and had hoped for a more closed ending.

Since I can't seem to make a release note for this book (the place where I released it isn't in the list and cannot be added) I will write here that I released this book at the reception of Brasil Tropical Village, Pipa, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, on June 1st.

Dear finder!

Congratulations on finding a book and welcome to bookcrossing! I hope you enjoyed reading the book that you found. I would realle appreciate it if you could leave a message here if you liked the book and where you found it. Then, leave it behind somewhere to be found by someone else so the book can continue traveling.

Thank you!
