Follow-up to Love that Dog.

We ought to have BookCrossing poetry:

This is just to say
I have forwarded
the book
that you sent me

It was not
what I expected
from the journal entries

Perhaps
some other reader
will like it more

mew meow miaow
say the cat as it
jump up to my lap
a cosy place
for purring
just because

before I'd put a smile on my face
it jumps
to chase the birds
I invited with seeds
selfish
not fish
just a cat.

There was a Draw for the sake of our cat ...

the meowing cat's vet
said our cat needs a new
lap
in this ad
I look for a kind pal
who offer a mat
for a wondering
wandering cat.

Outside our house,
sits our black cat
looking around for a wandering rat.
She crouches down
and listens with all her might.
Her two big eyes, green and bright.
From around the corner
comes not a rat,
but our postman with a book called
"Hate That Cat"!

I like books
I like tea
I like chocolate
although it doesn't like me!

Thanks for the books
Thanks for the tea
Thanks for the chocolate
that doesn't like me!

(I liked it
I loved it
I already ate half of it)

Thank you very much hakkalina for sending me this book. I think I will enjoy reading it.
Thank you also for the Rupert Bear book. I was so thrilled to receive that. I love it. Thanks also for the pocket calendar, the two teabags, (I haven't tried "Festive Grape" yet), the bar of chocolate and the two round chocolates. The round chocolates arrived completely squashed flat, but that didn't deter me from eating one straight away! I have also eaten half of the chocolate bar! In this photo you can only see one (squashed) round chocolate in the photo because the other one was already eaten by me! You are very kind, as always!

5 out of 10

How heavy fell the rain today
from clouds that were so dark and grey.
The tea was made, the heating on...
didn't feel like getting housework done!

Instead of dusting my bookshelves
I had a LOOK.....
and my eye fell on this bright red book!
"Hate That Cat"
Held it on my lap, while I read away....
for the rest of this rainy day!

Some of the poems are strange and hazy,
or should I say they are downright CRAZY?
An interesting read
that fulfilled my need
to read away
this dark wet day.

Loved the poem called "kitten"
page one-three-eight.
Finished this book and
not too late....
to start cooking my food.
Rain has stopped
I'm in a better mood!

In the near future, this book may....
be offered as a R-A-B-C-K !!
