I Heard the Owl Call My Name
2 journalers for this copy...
Picked up at a Public Library Book Sale - $5 for as many books as I can stuff into a bag...and I get to use my own bag! I had some empty space in my bag after I'd picked up the books I wanted for myself, so this one was added as "filler". I've already read this book, but enjoyed it so much that I was glad to find another copy to release. It's the story of a young priest who, as we find out on the first page, has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, although he is unaware of the fact. We never do find out what that illness was. The story takes us through the next year and a half of his life as he finds his way in a remote settlement on the BC coast. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Happy reading!
It was great to meet you this evening, K-i-s-m-e-t! Thanks for the recommendation for this book. Sounds like a good read!
I tried but just couldn't get into this one. I will try to release it over the next few days
Released today at the OBCZ at Scalliwag Toys in Belleville, Ontario. It's a great little store but I wish the OBCZ was more noticeable, on a shelf, perhaps, instead of in a box near the door. But I was still thrilled and delighted to find it and I hope that this little book finds a new home!
