"Every book, every volume you see here, has a soul. The soul of the person who wrote it and of those who read it and lived and dreamed with it. Every time a book changes hands, every time someone runs his eyes down its pages, its spirit grows and strengthens ..."
Carlos Ruiz Zafon (The Shadow of the Wind)

Great little book I picked up on the "Last Chance" table at B&N.

ETA: Decided to bring this to the meet-up at Tealuxe to meet mojosmom from Chicago. Got to looking at this book and thought it would be good for a geocache release and I knew another BCer would be there who does that. Hope you find good use of it.

I got this handsome little book from GWF at the mojosmom-meet; many thanks! It is indeed perfect for a geocache release, being small enough to fit into most caches.

I enjoyed the snippets of lore and wisdom, too, along with the photographs; very good collection. [My favorite quote: "Listen or thy tongue will keep thee deaf." Gotta remember that one next time I'm stuck in a business meeting that's going nowhere {grin}.]

Released 14 yrs ago (8/8/2009 UTC) at New Hampshire geocache (see notes for details) in -- Geocaches, New Hampshire USA

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I left this book in the Inca Trail geocache in Nashua at about noon. (The streets leading to the general area of the cache are named for different tribes, so I thought it was appropriate!) Hope the finder enjoys the book!

This book reminds me of Arizona and the Indian villages we visited there. It has beautiful photos inside and great quotes from powerful Indian leaders, poets and different Indians nations. Thank you for sharing your books, they are a true gift to strangers :)
