Journal Entry 4 by LeishaCamden from Alna bydel, Oslo fylke Norway on Wednesday, September 02, 2009
I've read this book now, brought to France with me in August and finished it at Stansted Airport. :-) It was a good read, well, pretty good, anyway. The story was the best part of it, although it was too modern IMO. Too much sex to be convincing as Regency ;-) and too modern opinions in many of the characters. The language is the worst part, the punctuation is just not right and there are several words in it that totally ruined my suspension of disbelief. I don't believe anyone in Jane Austen's time ever asked anyone else, Are you okay? But the characters are pretty good and the book is definitely an entertaining read. Well worth reading for an Austen fan. Thanks for sharing, Findabair! :-)

Journal Entry 7 by Tanumine at Råholt, Akershus fylke Norway on Sunday, November 21, 2010
Finished this today. It was an entertaining story, but not very believable as to topics and conversations, like LeishaCamden commented before. I found myself raising my eyebrows many times, I don't believe this is how people acted in private at that time at all. But that aside, it was an amusing book all the same :-) Planning to return it to Findabair next time we meet. Thank you for sharing :-)
