Fabulous Fragrances II
1 journaler for this copy...
Okay, what can I say? I confess, I'm the author of this book, and in the course of business I give away quite a few copies. I call them my good will "ambassadors" and have always been curious about where they end up.
In 1994, I wrote the first Fabulous Fragrances (the second version just came out) to help other people learn about the world of perfumery, and have gone on to distribute other books of the subject, most notably, from fellow author, Michael Edwards: Perfume Legends, and Fragrances of the World. Our books cover popular commercial fragrances, such as those from Guerlain, Patou, Lauder, Creed, Klein, and hundreds of others. It's all here: the history, the bottles, the composition, shopping and wearing tips, cross references--even famous patrons, just for fun.
If you're curious about Fabulous Fragrances, or Michael's books, visit our website at www.fabulousfragrances.com. If you're looking for hard-to-find fragrances, or simply want to learn a little more about fragrance, visit the Fragrance Forum on our website. Our visitors help one another, and I just love it.
I think I'll leave this book at a university in Southern California later this week. I can't wait to register other books and leave these around, too. What a fun idea! As fellow author Lyda Morehouse says, we "write to be read." And I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing!
Fabulous Wishes,
Jan Moran
