From the back cover:

A boy's search for his father becomes a desperate journey to unlock a secret past. But it is a past that must not be remembered...if he is to survive.

I was digging through books at our local library's ongoing used paperback sale when I found this and thought it would be nice to start a bookring with it. It's been a while since I've read it, but I remember enjoying it...even if it was a little weird.

(Usually I recommend keeping the book for no longer than a month, but if you find that it's taking you a little longer to finish the book, just keep us updated.) When you're nearing the end of the book, please send the next person in line a PM to request shipping information. When you've finished the book, please make another entry to let us know what you thought and to let us know you're ready to mail the book along to the next participant. Finally, send the book out and make release notes.

If it's possible, be kind to the earth by reusing the envelope the book arrived in!

Happy reading, and Happy Bookcrossing!

This was quite a disturbing and, at the end, shocking read. I got into it easily and found that I had to keep reading to find out what the secret was. The last chapter was heartbreaking, poor boy.

Thanks, allthesepieces, for giving me the opportunity to read this. It'll be on its way back to you shortly.
