Reading this one as it was highly recommended to me by the St. Croix Bluffs gal. She wants me to read all five of them...we'll see how this goes. It's classified as historical fiction which is one of my favorite genre's but I dunno...it's kinda cheezy so far!

Yep, cheezy and a bit too long at that. Turns out I was kinda in the mood for cheezy though...as I stuck with all 868 pages! The epic saga continues with Dawn on a Distant Shore. This is good summertime reading - quick and mindless. Apparently, there a five in this series and Donati is just finishing up number 6 to go to market early 2010. We'll see if I stick with 'ol Boots and Nathaniel. Until then....cheers.

Update Nov,2009: Momentum was completely lost for me with the next one...Dawn on a Distant Shore. Author spend tedious energy on the Scots dialect which was a complete torture for me to read. I finished it and went on to the next one but have little interest in continuing.
