I listened to this book on my way home from Sunset Beach, North Carolina, and it definitely made the 11+ hour drive seem a little shorter.

I didn't realize that this book was part of a series that features a different character or combination of characters from the Philadelphia law firm of Rosato & Associates; my first encounter with the women attorneys came via Courting Trouble. It was interesting and amusing to be inside Judy Carrier's head this time, rather than Anne Murphy's.

The story, itself, was pretty good, though it had moments of incredulity. For example, would a lawyer really have the octogenarian friends of her client help investigate just because the firm's investigator is unavailable? And is that investigator unavailable for the entire time span of the book? Maybe it played out a little differently in the unabridged version. In any case, the book did make me more likely to keep an eye—and ear—out for other titles in the series.
