Simply fantastic, I'd been wanting to read this and I wasn't dissapointed in anyway. I loved the shifting viewpoints and the way the same event was shown multiple times. I thought I would find the Briony as author too precious but it worked incredibly well. I think the best part is that I finished it two days ago and I'm still thinking about it.

Through most of the novel I found the writing overly descriptive (although with perfect prose). Then I came to the books 'interesting' conclusion and this made me rethink the novel as a whole.
