I received this in the mail from Ekke of North West Province, South Africa as an RABCK.

Thank you so much for mailing this book to me, Ekke. It has been a long time since I've read about little Bertie and all the people who live on Scotland Street.

P.S. That slow boat was quite fast.

I read this book about a year ago and I was surprised to learn that I had not made any notes on this book. I am still slowing working my way through this series. In this book, Matthew and Elspeth got married and go on an amazing honeymoon, amazing because of the strange happenings. Irene Pollack continues to be a shockingly bad mother with all kinds of crazy ideas. Bruce, the narcissistic handsome Scotsmen is rejected by his fiancé but it ends up being a learning experience for him. And a variety of other stories about other characters make this book a pleasant read.

This book has been left in the Little Free Library. It was released for the 2019 Wine+Food release challenge.
