I'm not entirely sure if I liked this book. The start was promisingly weird - in London, a detective tries to track down a burglar targeting newspaper astrologers, while in Cornwall a family are on a musical retreat, but the daughter is distracted by a phantom pregnancy, and the son by a determination to find a lover, and the father appears to have gone AWOL. Unfortunately, the ending, while (predictably) entwining the two strands, kind of lets the rest of the book down - it's just too bland, and feels too rushed.
Oh well, it was good up until then.
