A woman runs off with an acrobatic pilot, abandoning her three children in the middle of a fairground. Unsurprisingly, none of them grow up to be particularly stable adults, and their stories just get stranger and stranger....
Not a bad read, though it got a bit *too* weird at times. A pity too that none of the characters were entirely sympathetic.
