Book 4 - White Monkey - 17.11.21 = 4/10
Not much to interest me in this book, a bit of a filler I think, not a huge amount going on. It's a relatively easy to read story but author's from this time period are more likely to slow the story down with flowery language, take ages to get to the point. Anyway, 4 books down 5 to go and I will finish them ALL by the end of 2021.
Book 5 - Silver Spoon - 29.11.21 = 6/10
Slightly more interesting than the book 4 but not what you'd call a page-turner. I do feel I'm getting back into this family's story better now. It's been 2 years since I read books 1-3, so it's taken a while to get back into it. Usual story, too many books, not enough eyes and hands.
Book 6 - Swan Song - 3.12.21 - 6/10
A few more twists in this story than I expected. Overall, I was expecting more years to be covered but story does seem to start picking up the pace a bit. My current favourite character is not actually a Forsyte but is married to one, Michael Mont.

I've got Volume 3 out of the library, I'll get straight on to that and get this series finished and finally tick this book off of my 1001 List.
