7 out of 10

Found the book under a tree a few months back. I am a slow reader so have worked my way through the book, quite easy reading actually - nice bite-size chapters. As a father of 5 I could relate to many examples, though I found that the book did not necessarily offer many solutions. It did offer some insight into children's behaviour and something of the motivation that drive them to do what they do. I would recommend this book, but would also suggest that readers find some other supplementary material to compliment what has been offered. Garry and Marie Ezzo offer some books which help to offer parents some good counsel. Rather than allowing children to dictate the terms, they offer strategies which help parents regain control of their children, things that Bill alludes to in this book, but does not go as far as saying.
