The first book in a 4 part series. I like all the characters, so I think I will like all the books. This one centers on Mackensie. I don't think this has the depth of some of the author's series, but I enjoyed the romance! Great book!

What a romantic book, with such a highly captivating setting!!! I absolutely love the idea of four friends working together as wedding planners! The characters are strong women, each with their own strengths and vulnerabilities. The main character in this book is Mackenzie, who is a photojournalist, so much of the story is told in amazingly descriptive visual detail through the eyes of a photographer. This made everything come to life right off the pages, and greatly enhanced Nora Roberts' already famously wonderful style of writing.

Am I gushing??? I really loved this book and cannot wait for the next one (Emmaline's story entitled Bed of Roses).

I plowed through this book in two days, so suffice it to say I really enjoyed it. I liked the concept of these four lifelong friends and their wedding planning business; interesting that they each have a talent that fits into such a business--one does the major event organizing, one does the photography, one does the cake and one does the general organization and logistics. I liked Mackensie and Carter's story; I'm sure I will enjoy the rest of the women's love stories.

I think it's appropriate that this book, which was RABCKed to me, is now going out as a RABCK to konjunktiv, who won it in my monthly RABCK contest.
