7 out of 10

Brand new book, only read once and flipped through a couple times afterward.

Its written in two perspectives, Roger, a middle-aged divorced aisles associate at Stables, and his younger coworker Bethany. They share notes written back in forth through a notebook. Oh and a smaller story in that too (Glove Pond) you'll understand when you read it.

There's more to the book than that though. There seemed to be profound thoughts on both Roger and Bethany's side. Each telling one another about their life, their secrets. Reading the story, you can feel each of their hearts break as they unfold their own personal story to each other.

It seemed a bit voyeuristic reading the whole book, because the narratives get really personal.
Not to forget it wasn't funny. It was hilarious at times.

This book will make you want to reconcile with past mistakes.
