Flying Changes: A Novel
4 journalers for this copy...
For CB6 (edited later: I see she's already got this one on her shelf so I'll move it on elsewhere.)
Here's a little blurb that I attach to each book that I've registered:
Welcome to BookCrossing! It's a site for catching and releasing books and spreading the good karma of reading! Please make a journal entry when you FIND this book and let previous readers know how you came upon it. You may remain anonymous on this site if you like but it's very safe and spam free. We leave FREE books around for others to stumble upon...they read, and then re-release in a public place for someone else to enjoy. Of course you're welcome to keep the book if you prefer but it's more fun to watch them travel and to hear from them once in a while. I hope you enjoy the book but I especially hope you enjoy BookCrossing.
Many thanks, Poobah1

Set aside for judygreeneyes, winner of my double RABCK for 2 year BookCrossing Anniversary.
Journal Entry 3 by Poobah1 at A fellow BookCrosser, A RABCK -- Controlled Releases on Wednesday, July 1, 2009
Woohoo! Thanks much, Poobah1 -- I've been wanting to read this! You're awesome, thanks for the great books! Happy 2-year anniversary!
This story did not live up to my expectations after having read "Water for Elephants" by the same author. The characters in this book are fairly shallow, petty, childish and altogether unlikable. I felt myself wanting to reach out to the main character and slap her on almost every excruciating page of the story. But that's not an unusual feeling I have about characters in books :) The best parts are really about the horses. It is obvious that the Sara Gruen has done some riding - there's no other other way her descriptions could strike a chord with so many equestrians out there. All in all, an interesting read, and the horses carry the story.
Released by mail to booklady331 for her book box.
Thank you, judygreeneyes, for helping to stock the ABC bookbox. Since the first box has finally serviced I will save these for the box when it returns because I don't have to restart the box. I might read this book before the box arrives. You are so generous to offer to help. There is a great variety of books so it will make the next box more exciting.
I found this on my shelf. I have to apologize that I did not put it in the ABC box. Somehow this book got stuck on my shelf and not my ABC book shelf. I picked it up this morning as my next book to read. I will add it to the ABC book box when it goes out again. Hopefully, in March.
Just couldn't get into this book. I didn't enjoy Water for Elephants very much. I was hoping this would capture me. I will put this in the ABC bookbox like it was intended to be.
KTM RABCK to minesayn for ABC VBB pick. Trust you enjoy the book.
Received in the mail today along with another book from the ABC VBB..thanks Booklady331 for the books. Read Riding Lessons several years ago and wanted to read its sequel so looking forward to reading it sometime in the near future.
