"Betsy Taylor has problems that only a vampire queen/suburban wife could possibly understand. Such as taking the body of her werewolf friend Antonia—who died in her service—to Cape Cod, where she’s not sure if the Wyndham werewolves will welcome her with fangs or friendship. Meanwhile, her posse back in St. Paul is sending frantic e-mails alerting Betsy to her half-sister’s increasingly erratic behavior. Looks like the devil’s daughter is coming into her own—and raising hell" (from amazon.com).

I had such a hard time tracking down book 7 in this series that I had little faith that I would be able to walk into a store and easily find book 8. That wasn't the case though- and I'm thrilled!
Book 8 mostly revolves around the Vampires and their relationship with the Werewolves. It's more about the politics than anything else. One refreshing thing with this book is that we hear more from Marc, Betsy's roommate and friend. Marc has been in all the books, but in book 8 he plays a large part. Also, Betsy's sister, Laura, makes up a lot of the story line.
I've read every book in this series, and I really can't say that I love this book more than any of the others. There is still the same great humor from Betsy, and it makes for a great read.
I'll release this book at some point.

Another fast, fun romp from Betsy and gang. I read this entire book in one day - gotta love a bit of light fluff :) As always, Betsy has her funny witicisms, but there seemed to be fewer in this one than in previous stories. Also, as with the other stories, I wish there were more naughty scenes with Sinclair ... but at least we did get a bit of the werewolves Michael and Derik, so that was nice.
Thanks for letting me read this one - will send it off to my sister soon!

Thank you... can't wait to catch up with this crazy crew!
One of my favorite episodes in the series. Nice move, telling the story from Marc's perspective too. He's a funny guy. Doing the same with Jessica is also a great option for the future.
Welcome to Rapid City Queen Betsy. Hope you enjoy your stay. By the way Mary Janice Davidson is scheduled to be at a book festival in my area soon. Do you think anyone would object if I attempt to get the book autographed??
I have to admit that when I started reading this book I had a very Betsy-like inability to concentrate. I must have started it 3 or 4 times but once I finally got going I really enjoyed the book. Marc's journal entries were a nice touch and it was very amusing trying to figure out his email shorthand. All in all, a fun book. As an added bonus, I got to meet the author in October and she is hilarious!
