Since this book seems so popular, I would like to turn this book into a book ray. Twilight and New Moon have been split into North American and International rays. Would like to do the same with Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, as money allows.

To help ensure that things run smoothly (or that is the plan anyhow), I've put together a few rough guidelines for this one. I know that some people take longer to read a book (busy, got a bunch of books to read before, work, etc)...

1. Please try to have this book read within 3 weeks. I know this isn't possible, but if you make an effort to try that is all I can ask.

2. Please journal when you receive the book.

3. When about halfway through, please contact the next person on the list for their mailing address.

4. Please journal again when you've read the book and it is on its way to the next reader.

5. Have fun! Reading is supposed to be fun!

6. To the last person in the ray: Please keep this book moving... RABCK it, give it to a friend, etc... just please keep it moving once you're done reading it. Thanks!

7. If sending to the same person as the previous book in the series, please double check that they have't moved before sending the book their way. Thanks!

Sending order will be modified as people join in.

I enjoy very much this last book of the saga Twilight. My favorites are the first and the last one. And everything is ok when ends ok. Good development for Bella character and also for the news one.
I suppose that now I had enough from Stephanie Meyer. She is a good writer with a lot of imagination. But there is so much to read of other authors…
Thanks a lot thegoaliegirl for this idea of sharing the books with the entire world. Hope I can do the same for you. Sorry for having kept the book a little more. Tomorrow it will fly to anathema.

Journal Entry 6 by anathema-device from Wien Bezirk 20 - Brigittenau, Wien Austria on Tuesday, September 29, 2009
This book arrived safely in my mailbox; thanks for passing it on to me!
Wow, this one is a bit thicker than the first three books, so I bet I won't be able to finish it in a day or two. ;)
I'm very curious as to how the story ends (if it does indeed), but I'll have to finish my current novel first. Reading more than one book at a time is really bad for me. Anyway, I've only got about a hundred pages left, so I guess I'll be able to start "Breaking Dawn" before the weekend!

Journal Entry 7 by anathema-device from Wien Bezirk 20 - Brigittenau, Wien Austria on Tuesday, October 13, 2009
It's kind of hectic at work right now, so I couldn't finish this book before last weekend.
I didn't like it as much as the other books; I guess the first one was probably the best.
The story didn't hold any surprises for me, and I think I need a break from all kinds of vampire-related books.
Still, I'm happy I got the opportunity to read this series and make up my mind about my personal Twilight likes and dislikes.
Thanks for the bookrays, thegoaliegirl! :)

I liked the final book of this saga. I kept thinking "so, when does the tragedy arrives?" and it did arrive, but later on. So, I enjoyed the beginning, happy enough part. And I was quite amused at the change of perspective in the middle part of the book, that was a nice surprise. The way all things match and find their balance piece by piece along the whole novel is interesting though not that surprising, mostly. Yet the suspence is there till the end, at least for me, until everything is finally settled and over. I guess I'm going to miss the Twilight characters now, it was fun enough reading their adventures. Thank you so much for sharing all of them with us!
This is going to Alectoness tomorrow morning. Enjoy!

Journal Entry 11 by Alectoness from Geelong, Victoria Australia on Sunday, November 8, 2009
Looking forward to reading this last Twilight book. Thanks mikime for sending it on!

First of all, I want to say thank you to thegoaliegirl for starting this set of rays for the Twilight series. Of the four, 'Twilight' was my least favourite, and I would've probably wouldn't have read any further had I not been a participant in these rays. Instead, I spent a crowded tube journey home last night immersed in the world of Edward and Bella. And while I felt that the story could have ended hundreds of pages before it actually did, I was still kind of disappointed to have to put the book down. It seemed that, after all the warnings about vampire life in the previous books, that it was almost too easy for Bella, which made me wonder about the overall message of the series. Maybe Meyer's trying to say that taking risks is worth it (as long as you're married first!!)

Will post this on to raeliz64 today, and will follow the future comments on this and the other books in the series with interest. Thanks again!

Journal Entry 14 by raeliz64 from Leicester, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Tuesday, December 22, 2009
This was probably my least favourite of the four books. I still enjoyed it, but not as much as the others.
I will be sending on to Charlieboots after Christmas.

UPDATE: 4th Jan.
Just waiting on an OK from CharlieBoots before posting.

The book arrived today! Thanks Charlieboots 76 for sending it. I try to forget the spoilers I was forced to hear in our BC-meeting couple of weeks ago and try to enjoy what's left of it.

Journal Entry 19 by Niksu from Helsinki, Uusimaa / Nyland Finland on Saturday, April 3, 2010
The book is now read. Well, for me Twilight was the best book (or just plain good) and after that it was unfortunately downhill till the very end of the series. This Breaking Dawn I liked the least. Maybe it is that if I would have not participated this ray, I propably would have ever read the whole series. But I'm glad I did read it. Atleast now I know what's it about, I have my own opinions about it and after started reading the series and decided to go all the way, I don't have to be careful about hearing spoilers anymore...

I know for sure that if I would have found these books in my early teens, I would have loved thess to death! It was only couple of months ago I was able to read more about the authors background and it opened the story abit, it didn't make me like the books more but I was able to understand it little. I'm also glad I read the series in english, which is not my native language but it's the original language of the book. Translations can be awkward and of course make the book even worse.

Still even though my dislike, I must say Stephenie Meyers has done some pretty amazing thing. She has got children, teenagers and all the rest read. I thought the same way when Harry Potter was IN. It made those kids read who have not had a slightest intrest towards reading and I think that is some awesome thing to do.

My million thanks to you, thegoaliegirl, for setting up these rays, your generosity and kindness. I have contacted benschu and will send the book forward as soon as possible, which means after Easter on Thuesday.
