Chemical Prison, A

This mystery features İstanbul Police Inspector Çetin İkmen and his good friend Dr. Arto Sarkassian, a forensic pathologist. Much of the story depends on the Turkish location, and I enjoyed reading about yet another place I've never visited (Although I've seen TMBG do the song: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Istanbul_(Not_Constantinople) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeQ-wjDH4F4)
I also thought all the diacritical markings were interesting; I presume they affect pronunciation, but I'm not sure exactly how.
This is apparently the second book in the series.
