I bought this novel for a dollar at Borders bargain bin book sale!! I love the cover art for this book. I look forward to reading this book as I have heard lots of great things about Joyce Carol Oates' writing.

This is the 1st book I've ever read by Joyce Carol Oates... It is a collection of short stories and they are very "dark" in nature for my taste. I think she is a good writer, but the topics were disturbing.
