Thank You so much, Vasha! This was so great and unexpected surprise, I love it!!!

Well well, what to say? This was a thick book, over 460 pages. In a way it was quite boring , quite dragging reading - but on the other hand, it was interesting. The story of all the women of the family, their lifes with ups, and mostly, downs. This was very real, genuine stuff.
I loved Margaret Drabble's The Seven Sisters very much, so this was a bit disappointing compared to it.

Thank you Annimanni for this wishlistbook!

In the back cover text it's said that the book "explores themes of relationships between the generations, environmental and genetic inheritance and adaptation, DNA, and the individual's place in history." Sounds really interesting to me.
