A collection of the columns published previously in "Sainsbury's Magazine".

Sue Townsend writes about middle England, her home life, the absurdities of daily life and growing old and movingly about losing her sight.

One to dip into.

Read and enjoyed all of these. I like her take on life, her struggles with actually writing anything, and her sense of humour. Ideal for dipping into, thus the delay in journalling this. Sorry!

The public confessions of a middle-aged woman is a collection of her columns for Sainsbury’s The Magazine, and I was very fond of them. Read one after the other, they can sometimes become a bit samey, but this is great for just dipping in for one or two at a time.

Picked up at Cafe Nero Ipswich at yesterday's meet. I'm not sure if I would class myself as middle-aged but suspect I may be.

I still refuse to admit to being middle aged so will move this on to clear space and give someone else a chance to read it.

Picked up at the UnConvention. Trying not to pick up too many 'Other BookCrossers' books at the moment but thought this might be good light-hearted fun.
