This was a rescue library book that came to Texas by way of appaloosatb from Byron, Minnesota. Thanks for your efforts.
I think I will let this one find a new home. I just have way more than I can read now. It is short stories and a novella that look good.

Another for my grandaughter? The highschool one.

Dines' incredibly real dialogue and her use of the first-person present tense perfectly captures the frustration of adolescence and puts readers right into each narrator's consciousness. First line "The best thing about my father is his choice of women."

I would keep it to read but short stories are the bottom of the TBR list most of the times.
This book thought that it was time to find a new reader so it ask to be in the Wrap-it-up BB.

I finished this this morning on the train. I really enjoyed these short stories. Each story had a moral and the teenager learned something in the end.
