I'll be going to Korea this Fall (a dream come true!) and I always like to read up on the places I visit. :D

It took me forever to get through this one. I am very interested in Korean history, but this book was too much about diplomacy and international relations and not enough about the people of Korea, as far as I'm concerned. Some chapters were really interesting and I learnt a few new fascinating things about the two Koreas, but most of it was a blur of diplomats and peace talks that all seemed the same to me.
