Personally I am not a big Jeffery Archer fan but I managed to get to the end of these stories and they were not too bad.
Wow, this little book has already had some interesting travels. Don't think I've ever read anything by Archer, so a set of short stories will be a good start.
This was really terrific. The stories were all quite different, a pleasant variety. I'm quietly proud that I guessed the gimmick in the last story, 'Just Good Friends,' early on, which allowed me to admire Archer's skill at language. Luckily for me, our library system has quite a few books by Archer, including some BBC audiobooks.
Both readers, Martin Jarvis and Rosalind Ayres, were quite good, and definitely added to the enjoyment of the stories. In fact Ayres produced a series of surprisingly good accents - I can certainly attest that her American accent in 'Colonel Bullfrog' is spot on.
This collection is on two cassettes.

Mailed to LittleWhiteBird for iwillrejoice's Audio VBB.
Received in the mail today. Thank you!
Because of the title of the first story, at first I thought they may all be murder mysteries, but they are not. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety. Some are just nice little tales with a twist that I really enjoyed.
