Journal Entry 1 by kaila-ann from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina USA on Sunday, May 10, 2009
Rules and Suchlike: (taken from Trekwoman) * PLEASE journal here when you receive the bookbox and again when you are ready to mail to the next person on the list. This helps me keep track of where the box has been even when all of my books are no longer traveling in it. * You may take as many of the books as you like and replace with the same number of books. Additionally, please make journal entries on the books you choose when you receive them. I know this seems **obvious** but you'd be surprised at the number of folks who don't do it. * Please try to keep the bookbox no longer than 2 weeks. If you are having problems please PM me. * If the box looks like it is wearing out, please replace it. * Delivery confirmation would be nice, but not absolutely necessary. * Media mail (or parcel post) is good to keep cost of mailing down, especially since the price of postage is once again on the rise. * At the end the bookbox will come back to me, so if you are the last on the list, contact me for my addres. * Most importantly have fun and enjoy the bookbox!! Thank you! This is the BCID for my Historical Romance Bookbox. 1. Loriped 2. k00kaburra 3. Nuttyreader 4. heartthumper 5. Izzy5000 Back to me unless someone else would like to join!!

Journal Entry 5 by k00kaburra from San Jose, California USA on Wednesday, June 03, 2009
Since the FAQ states the following: Is it ok to register things that aren't books, like magazines, phone directories, music CDs, DVDs, catalogues, etc? (hide) A: No, BookCrossing is only for — well, books. Audio books and e-books are okay, as they are forms of books. Magazines, catalogues, zines and other such things are not usually durable enough to withstand the travels, and frequently, the material is quickly outdated. Some members choose to register journals that are then filled as they travel. If it represents an actual, physical book, it can have a BCID. And DVDs are, well, DVDs, not books. I will see if I can find a blank journal to put the postcard with this BCID written on it so that the Historical Romance Bookbox will be in accordance to the rules :D Looks like a fun box, I'll be sorting through it in a bit :D

Journal Entry 6 by k00kaburra from San Jose, California USA on Wednesday, June 03, 2009
Contacting next person in line. As I was sorting through the selection to make my choices, something triggered my allergies and I could not stop coughing and sneezing. I couldn't single out a specific book that was making me react, so to be safe I'm not going to take anything out of the book box. It's the only time this has ever happened to me with a book box, so I'm probably just weird. Adding a couple of Victoria Holt novels since I didn't see any of her work in the box. - The Shadow of the Lynx - Seven for a Secret - Lord of the Far Island - Secret for a Nightingale Thanks for the chance to look through! Some of the books looked pretty interesting, so I hope that I'll get another chance at a different copy someday :D
