New author for me, sounds interesting..

I read another book by this author just recently, placed in Spain, and found it entertaining. However, this story didn't catch me really, telling family story from Scotland. After several pages I decided to not to finish it. Scottish dialogue in the beginning was quite challenging read, not sure whether I quite understood it :-)

I grabbed this book from the swap shelf in K-Market Portsa. I've read Peter Kerr's books about life on Mallorca, so I thought I'll probably like this one as well. It was a nice surprise to see that the book was registered here. Nice to "hear from you" AspenYard and Savotar :)

Not my cup of tea after all :(

Will give the book a chance and already know a place to take it to next!
