A fantasy set in colonial America follows the struggle of America's founding fathers against British tyranny, as they become pawns in a mysterious master scheme of conquest and power.

This was amazing: so well written, so vividly detailed, such great characters. Kurtz knows her history (or has done her research) so well that it wasn't hard, at times, to forget this was actually a novel at heart! I like Kurtz's "Adept" books and the way they bring Freemasonry into the light, but I actually think this might have even been better!

This goes off to America now (home, I guess) where I hope its new owner likes it just as much.
