The blurb:

This is a paperback edition from Fontana Books, published in 1989, which was also the book's original year of publication.

I haven't read this copy, but I have read the book. I read it years and years ago, not that long after it came out, so I don't remember much of it, but I do remember that I thought it was a very good read. Thought-provoking and intriguing.

I bought this book at a flea market at Bolteløkka elementary school in Oslo on Saturday, March 28th, 2009.

Releasing this as part of the book buffet! :-)

Journal Entry 5 by Yiran at Nanyang, Henan China on Saturday, July 23, 2016
Hey, there. My name is Yiran and I am a high school student in Henan Province, China. My uncle has just come back from a trip to Europe and took this book he picked up in the airport to me. He doesn't know English, and had no idea why a book was left there when he was waiting for his plane. But he took it with him and gave it to me as a gift. I have just read the first chapter, and have been caught by the story. I live in a small town of China, and almost nobody can read this book limited by the language barrier. I will try to pass the book in my school. If no students want to read it, I will take it to Shanghai next month where English is more widely used.
