rabck from pjlaureau; Excellent book, that I left languish far too long on the slopes of Mt TBR.
Kathy is an addict, who gets evicted from the house she inherited from her father, due to what turns out to be a mistake. In the meantime, a former colonel in the Shah's military, now relocated to America to save his family from death, buys her house for a song intending to flip it and start his real estate business. And one of the cops that supervises Kathy's eviction, just wants to be a hero. He leaves his wife and kids, takes up with Kathy and does whatever he needs to, so he can get her house back. The three lives intertwine with disastrous, tragic consequences.
This book is now reserved for the ABC VBB.

If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!
