Granted this one was nowhere near as terrible as I thought it might be - a tiny bit trashy in places, and of course so overloaded with cliches it might sink in the hands of a lesser writer, but quite engaging, funny in places, and I will certainly be reading Book 2. Off on its journey down south via the Oz VBB...
