I like the story. I was interested as I'm Irish and have been to Ireland and now I'm off to England. I wanted to read a story about both countries and this one really fit the bill. It was a story of two friends from both countires and their experiences with love and romance as they grew to middle age. Very real from the Irish lass's point of view.

This arrived in the mail today. I look forward to reading it; will report back then. Thanks also for the recipe, H-S! I do believe I'll try it out!
I enjoyed this story of a long friendship between English Elizabeth and Irish Aisling. They were always there for each other over the years. But please!!!!! They were about 31 at the end of the book, hardly middle-aged! :-)
