Wealthy widow Anne is shocked when the judge sentences her to 3 months of community service at the Halfway house for not paying her parking tickets. Anne's boss Kurt is a dedicated social worker to the kids in his care, and because he believes that Anne can't cut it, she's out to show him that she really can work in the kitchen. Unexpectedly she makes friends with the grumpy cook and assistant Vivian too, and turns her life from a hollow shell into something more.

If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!
