Journal Entry 1 by Savotar from Turku, Varsinais-Suomi Finland on Friday, April 24, 2009
I have read these poems in Finnish, they were as a separate attachment in the Finnish version of the novel. I liked both the novel and the poems, Zhivago is a great literary character. :) I bought this for the winner bookbag and Chania chose it. Enjoy!

Lovely book! The poems were quite simple "outside" but deep inside. It was lovely to try to read them aloud. My favourite poems were Mary Magdalene 1 and 2, they were really touching.

Thank you Chania! I have heard praise of Palsternak, though I haven't read anything from him yet. Looking forward to these poems!

Pasternak uses beautiful language, it's a shame I don't know enough russian to read these poems in their original language. I am bad at saying anything about poems! Some poems I liked, some not that much. I wasn't very interested in religion-themed poems.
