I have read these poems in Finnish, they were as a separate attachment in the Finnish version of the novel. I liked both the novel and the poems, Zhivago is a great literary character. :)

Lovely book! The poems were quite simple "outside" but deep inside. It was lovely to try to read them aloud. My favourite poems were Mary Magdalene 1 and 2, they were really touching.

Pasternak uses beautiful language, it's a shame I don't know enough russian to read these poems in their original language. I am bad at saying anything about poems! Some poems I liked, some not that much. I wasn't very interested in religion-themed poems.
